Pilot Training
Pilot Training with NextLift Aviation is designed to take you from interested observer to confident EVTOL pilot through a clear, structured pathway. We focus on practical skills, disciplined procedures, and a deep understanding of electric vertical takeoff and landing operations so you know exactly what you are doing every time you fly.
Most newcomers begin with our Basic EVTOL Pilot Course. This introductory phase covers aircraft layout, flight control systems, energy management, normal and emergency procedures, and the fundamentals of vertical liftoff, hover, and precision landing. We combine ground instruction, simulator time, and carefully managed flight demonstrations so you can link theory to what you see and feel in real time.
Once you have a solid foundation, you can progress into our full Pilot Training Program. Here we expand into advanced maneuvering, mission planning, weather evaluation, airspace awareness, and real-world use cases for urban and regional operations. Under the supervision of an experienced instructor, you work through increasingly complex flight profiles, including confined-area operations and point-to-point scenarios aligned with the capabilities of the S Zero series.
We design each stage to reduce uncertainty: you know what to study, what we will practice, and how each lesson moves you closer to your goals-whether that is personal recreation, future air-taxi operations, or preparation for EVTOL ownership. Because these aircraft rely on electric propulsion and modern control systems, we emphasize systems understanding and disciplined checklist use rather than outdated cockpit habits.
Throughout your training, we maintain a one-on-one, appointment-based format that gives you room to ask detailed technical questions about performance, regulations, and long-term operating considerations. If you believe you were meant to fly and want a clear, safety-first route into vertical flight, this Pilot Training pathway turns that ambition into an achievable, stepwise plan.
